We specialise in workplace environments, wayfinding systems, and brand experiences that make a real difference to how people feel and function at work.
We are looking for an Intern or Junior Wayfinding Designer to join our team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a creative, collaborative studio working with some of the world’s leading brands and design firms.
You will work closely with our creative and project teams to support the delivery of wayfinding and environmental graphics projects. This is a learning role with real responsibility, ideal for a recent graduate or emerging designer looking to grow their skills and confidence.
— Assist in the design of wayfinding systems and branded environments
— Support the team with research, mood boards, and concept development
— Help create design presentations, drawings, and production files
— Work on layouts, signage plans, and artwork
— Take part in team reviews and design discussions
— Learn about fabrication methods, site planning, and client delivery
You’re humble, but you care deeply about doing great work
— you might be early in your career, but you set high standards for yourself. You want to contribute to something meaningful, you take pride in the details, and you’re open to learning from the people around you.
You want to make a difference as part of a team
— you bring a fresh perspective, and you know that collaboration makes everything stronger. You’re happy to support, eager to speak up, and ready to grow through shared effort.
You’re curious and creatively driven — you notice the small things, ask thoughtful questions, and seek inspiration in unexpected places. You’re excited by the chance to turn good ideas into great design — and to explore new ways of doing it.
— A design graduate or junior designer with a focus on graphic, environmental, or spatial design
— A portfolio that shows creativity, attention to detail, and interest in space and communication
— A basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and InDesign
— A love of typography, systems, and storytelling
— A positive attitude and willingness to learn
— Good time management and an eagerness to contribute to the team
You will be part of a studio rebuilding with focus and ambition. We are small, hands-on, and collaborative, which means you will have direct access to projects, people, and learning opportunities.
This is a studio-based role in London, 5 days per week. You will be part of a supportive team environment where your ideas and growth are encouraged.
— Paid internship or junior position depending on experience
— 21 days paid holiday (pro rata for interns)
— One-on-one mentorship and real project exposure
— Experience working with senior creatives, architects, and designers
— A pathway toward a long-term role at THEM
Whether you are just starting out or switching focus to environmental design, we would love to hear from you. Please add your cover letter and a link to your CV and portfolio in the box below — or email these direct to [email protected]
